First Anniversary of Hands of Christ
"We are here on earth to serve others and help the needy." Deuteronomy 10:12-13
In February 2009, I started Hands of Christ, a program dedicated to supporting individuals affected by HIV/AIDS by providing them with essential food baskets.
A Year of Faith and Service
It fills my heart with joy and gratitude to share this first anniversary report of Hands of Christ. Our God is truly wonderful and merciful, and His faithfulness has enabled me to continue this mission throughout the past year.
Once a month, my mother graciously opens our home to those affected by HIV/AIDS, offering them a space for spiritual encouragement, prayer, and fellowship. After a time of sharing God’s word, each person receives a food basket containing rice, lentils, edible oil, fresh vegetables, and other essential items
The Heart Behind This Mission
In many remote villages, individuals diagnosed with HIV face severe discrimination and social isolation. Many are abandoned by their families and denied employment, making daily survival extremely difficult. With no support and an uncertain future, they are left feeling hopeless and alone.
During such difficult times, they desperately need comfort—a comfort that can only come through the grace of God and His people. As Christian brothers and sisters, we are called to demonstrate God’s love in action. With this burden on my heart and a small financial resource, I stepped out in faith to begin this program. By His grace, Hands of Christ continues to serve those in need.
Join Us in Prayer
I humbly ask you, dear friends, to keep these individuals in your prayers. May we continue to be God’s hands and feet, bringing hope and love to those who need it most.
