SECOND Anniversary of Hands of Christ

"We are here on earth to serve others and help the needy."  Deuteronomy 10:12-13

Celebrating Two Years of God’s Faithfulness

With a heart full of joy and gratitude, I am honored to share the second anniversary report of Hands of Christ. Our God is truly wonderful and merciful, and His unwavering faithfulness has allowed this mission to continue and grow.

In February 2009, I started Hands of Christ, a program dedicated to supporting individuals affected by HIV/AIDS by providing them with essential food baskets.

A Special Gathering of Thanksgiving

On January 14, 2011, we held a special meeting at Shanti Sadan, where all the beneficiaries and dear friends from the United States joined us. Together, we glorified God’s name for His goodness and provision throughout this journey.

For the past two years, we have continued our monthly gatherings. My mother graciously welcomes those affected by HIV/AIDS into our home, where we share the Word of God, pray together, and offer encouragement. Each person then receives a food basket filled with rice, lentils, edible oil, fresh vegetables, and other essential items.

Why Hands of Christ Was Born

In remote villages, people diagnosed with HIV often face severe rejection and isolation. Many are abandoned by their own families, denied jobs, and left to struggle alone. With no support, their future feels uncertain, and they often live without hope.

During such painful times, they need comfort, acceptance, and love—a comfort that only the grace of God can provide, working through His people. As Christian brothers and sisters, we are called to be His hands and feet, showing His love in action.

With this burden on my heart, and only a small financial resource, I stepped forward in faith to start this program. By God’s grace, Hands of Christ continues to serve those in need

A Call to Prayer

As we step into another year, I humbly ask for your prayers. May we continue to be a beacon of hope, spreading God’s love, care, and support to those who need it most.

Together, let’s bring light to those in darkness.
